I am interested in becoming a resident. How do I complete and submit an application?

Where in Asbury Park are your properties Located?

What do I do if I have a maintenance concern?

Residents can submit real-time and detailed maintenance requests with photos through our resident portal. The Management office will receive the request and take the appropriate action immediately.

I see that you require a full credit report and score upon application, what is the minimum Credit Score?

While we review an application in its entirety to determine the strength of an applicant, we require a minimum FICO credit score of 670 or higher from our applicants. Exceptions may apply, and, Co-signors welcome.

What is the minimum income requirement?

While we review an application in its entirety to determine the strength of an applicant, we require a maximum income-to-rent ratio of 35%. For example, if the monthly rent is $1400, this would equate to $16,800 per year and would, therefore, require a minimum documented combined household income of $48,000 ($16,800 divided by 35% = $48,000). Exceptions may apply, and, Co-signors welcome.

Will you accept a co-signor?

If you do not have established credit, or, do not meet the income or credit score requirements mentioned above a co-signer will allow you to still qualify for the apartment if the co-signer does meet the requirements. We gladly accept co-signors who demonstrate the minimum credit and income requirements. Applicants should submit their Co-signor information on the rental application.

How much is the Security Deposit?

Security deposit is always 1.5 times the monthly rent. For example, if the monthly rent is $1,400, then the Security Deposit will be $2,100.

Can I walk to the beach from my building?

YES!!! Our properties are conveniently and superiorly located on the East Side of Asbury Park, all within immediate beach proximity!

Can I walk to the downtown/Cookman Avenue area from my building?

YES!!! Our properties are conveniently and superiorly located on the East Side of Asbury Park, all within immediate proximity to downtown/Cookman Avenue!

I smoke, do you allow smokers in your buildings?

Our properties are all strictly non-smoking. This is a key feature of our communities and likewise is a key element to screening our residents. There are several buildings and management companies in the area that do not enforce non-smoking policies, and we encourage you to seek them out.

I smoke, but I do not smoke inside my apartment. Is this OK?

Unfortunately, no. The language in our leases is specific and severe regarding smoking by any tenant, or Guest of a tenant, anywhere on the property including inside the apartment, hallways, common areas, and exterior of the building.

I smoke, but I am going to quit soon. Is this OK?

Unfortunately, no.

I have a Cat, do you allow cats?

At the sole discretion of RentAsburyPark.com, we reserve the right to accept or reject an applicant who has one or more cats.

I have a Dog, do you allow dogs?

At the sole discretion of RentAsburyPark.com, we receive the right to accept or reject an applicant who has one or more dogs.

Do you allow other types of Pets?

We do not permit large fish / aquatic tanks. Additionally, At the sole discretion of RentAsburyPark.com, we receive the right to accept or reject an applicant who has any other type of pet.

Can three people move into a 1 Bedroom apartment?

Unfortunately, no.
